Through Him…
I love music and art (I have a deep appreciation for good music).I like detail and analytical work (most of the time) but I’m also adventurous and aggressive (sometimes). I prefer to be alone or at best with one or two others, that’s why I don’t have many friends, but once I acquire one, I’m extremely loyal to him/her, faithful and dependable. I’m direct and have strong perfectionist tendencies that makes me critical of others and any imperfections, which makes me hard to get along with(sometime ago).I seek the help of the Holy Spirit to develop a loving spirit that will cause me to be less critical of others and much easier to get along with. I’m (sometimes)the motivator, exhorter in the group and I’m (sometime ago) arrogant and bossy but I don’t expect anyone else to do something he/she can’t do and I’m not easily discouraged. My worst enemy was my violent anger problem but because of Jesus and through the Holy Spirit, I gain victory over it and replace it with love, joy and peace…
Just as John said, "Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in his name (Jesus), He gave the right to become children of God". I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. And when I say Lord, He is the Lord in all aspects of my life. Without Him, I am nothing! And I want nothing more but Him. I want to know him more, to love him more and to worship him and glorify him more and more, in all eternity. I’m so in love with Jesus! (Though you may say that I’m a Jesus freak- yes I am!)
Jesus save me from the punishment of sin, (which is death, an eternal separation from God in Hell).Jesus sets me free!(from sins’ slavery/Satan’s slavery) So, now I(we) may (freely) glorify the Father through Him!
Jesus is the (only) Way! Jesus is the Truth and Jesus is the Life! He commissioned me (and all the believers) to tell the (this) good news to the world (to those who haven’t heard it).
Jesus Christ came to restore man’s broken relationship with God. His finished work on the cross made that possible. Because of His love demonstrated on the cross by dying for our sins, we now have reason to fellowship with one another and proclaim salvation through His life and resurrection.(1 Corinthians 3:11, Ephesians 2:20, Romans 5:6-10)
It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ,…he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone. Ephesians 1:11 (Msg)
Through Jesus, I’m free! Free to do anything He wants me to do, so God may be glorified!
Through Jesus, I’ve found my purpose… have you found yours?
